About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Plimo ("Plimo", "we", "us") about your use of the Plimo website and services. By creating an account or using Plimo, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, our Content Policy and our Refund Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Plimo.
You can reach us at any time at support@plimo.ai.
The service
Plimo lets you create images and videos from prompts, templates and photos you upload. To do this, Plimo sends your request to third-party AI models run by other companies and returns the result to you. We choose which models and providers are available, and we may add, change or remove them at any time.
Who can use Plimo
You must be at least 13 years old to use Plimo. If you are under the age of legal adulthood where you live, you may only use Plimo with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these terms on your behalf. Any payment must be made by an adult or by your parent or legal guardian.
Your account
- Each person may have one account. Accounts are for individual use and may not be shared or sold.
- You may not create accounts using bots, scripts or other automated means, or create several accounts to collect trial credits more than once.
- You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in email or Google account safe, and for what happens under your account.
- Tell us at support@plimo.ai if you think someone else is using your account.
Credits and payments
- Generating images and videos uses credits. The number of credits for each generation is shown before you start it.
- Credits have no cash value. They can't be transferred to another account, sold or exchanged for money.
- Each account may receive trial credits only once.
- If a generation fails, the credits it used are refunded automatically to your account.
- If you have credits from more than one source, the credits that expire first are used first.
- Prices and credit amounts are those shown on our pricing page at the time you buy, or on the site when you generate. Prices are in US dollars and don't include taxes.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds of paid purchases follow our Refund Policy.
Subscriptions
- Plimo memberships (Plus, Pro and Ultra) are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel, and we charge the card saved for it.
- Subscription credits are added only after a payment succeeds. On a monthly plan, each payment adds one month of credits. On a yearly plan, you get 12 months of credits in total: the first month’s when you pay, then one month’s each month on the date your subscription started.
- Subscription credits expire at the end of the month they were added for. Unused subscription credits don't roll over.
- If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it over about two weeks. During that time you keep your membership, but no new credits are added until a payment succeeds. If all retries fail, your subscription is cancelled and your membership ends.
Changing or cancelling your plan
- Upgrading. If you upgrade to a higher plan with the same billing cycle, the change applies immediately and your renewal date doesn't change. On a monthly plan, you pay the difference between the two monthly prices. On a yearly plan, you pay the difference between the two yearly prices for the months left in your billing year, including the current month. You also get the difference between the two plans' monthly credits right away, and those credits expire on the same day as your current subscription credits. After that, you are charged the new plan's price. We change your plan only after this payment succeeds.
- Monthly to yearly. Switching from monthly to yearly billing applies immediately. You pay the full yearly price, a new yearly billing period starts that day and its first month of credits is added right away. Subscription credits you already have stay usable until they expire.
- Downgrading. Switching to a lower plan with the same billing cycle takes effect at the end of your current billing period (for a yearly plan, the end of your billing year). Until then you keep your current plan. You can undo the change before it takes effect. There is no refund for the current period.
- Yearly to monthly. A yearly plan can't be switched to monthly. If you'd like to pay monthly, cancel your yearly plan and subscribe to a monthly plan after it ends.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and there is no refund for the remaining time. Until then you can keep using your membership as usual, and on a yearly plan your monthly credits keep being added. You can resume your subscription before it ends.
Credit packs
- Credit packs are one-time purchases, sold only to members with an active subscription.
- Credit pack credits don't expire. They are used after your subscription credits.
- If your membership ends, you can still use the credit pack credits you have, but you can't buy new credit packs.
Your content and creations
"Your content" means the photos and files you upload, the prompts you write and the images and videos you create with Plimo.
- As between you and Plimo, your content belongs to you, to the extent the law and the terms of the AI model providers allow. AI-generated works may not be protected by copyright in some countries, and similar results may be produced for other users.
- You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, transmit and display your content to you, only as needed to run Plimo for you. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law.
- We do not use your content to train AI models. The AI model providers that process your requests handle your content under their own terms (see our Privacy Policy).
- You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload, including permission from people who appear in photos.
Watermarks and commercial use
Whether a creation has a watermark and whether you may use it commercially depends on whether you had an active subscription when you created it:
- Creations made while you have an active subscription have no watermark and may be used for commercial purposes.
- Creations made without an active subscription carry a visible watermark and may be used for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This includes creations made with trial credits, and creations made with credit pack credits after your membership has ended.
How long creations are kept
Each creation is kept for a period that is set when you create it, based on your membership at that time: 7 days without an active subscription, 30 days on Plus, 90 days on Pro and 360 days on Ultra. Upgrading, downgrading or ending your membership later doesn't change it. When the period ends, the creation disappears from your list and its file is removed from storage. We don't send a reminder first, so download anything you want to keep.
Acceptable use
You must follow our Content Policy. Before anything is generated, Plimo automatically checks your prompts and uploads against it and rejects content that breaks it. Rejected uploads are not stored (see How we check content). You also agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone else's rights;
- try to get around credit limits, watermarks, safety filters or other restrictions;
- interfere with Plimo, probe it for weaknesses, or overload it;
- access Plimo by automated means other than the features we provide, or resell access to it.
Removing content and suspending accounts
If we reasonably believe that you have broken these terms or our Content Policy, or that your use puts Plimo, other users or the public at risk, we may remove content, limit features, or suspend or terminate your account. Where we can, we will tell you why. You can stop using Plimo at any time.
AI results and availability
AI-generated results can be inaccurate, unexpected or unsuitable, and they may look like existing people, works or brands. Check results before relying on or sharing them. Plimo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise that Plimo will always be available, error-free or that a particular model will remain offered.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Plimo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to Plimo is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Plimo against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content or your breach of these terms, to the extent the law allows.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The courts of Hong Kong have jurisdiction over disputes, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will also tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. If you keep using Plimo after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
